Material Harbor uses a marketplace business model to connect original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) to a wide variety of suppliers and suppliers to possible buyers.
Overall, manufacturers have the ability to search for various material providers across the world, either to find quick fixes for possible material shortages that will keep the manufacturing process on track or to find a potential long-term contracted vendor for future products. Suppliers can also search for global manufacturers to help sell their products, ranging from raw materials, like aluminum sheets, to expertly machined pieces of steel, to even glass, plastic, or wood, depending on the industry.
